Vacuflex and Cupping

How can the Vacuflex System help you?

The Vacuflex system is a potent reflexology treatment which can be used as a standalone treatment or added on as part of the regular reflexology treatment. The Vacuflex system is also used for fixed cupping and quick cupping therapy, by using soft silicone cups.

Vacuflex and Cupping Benefits

Increased Blood Circulation

The Vacuflex boot, a soft felt boot, creates uniform pressure around the feet and lower legs by using a vacuum pump. This increases blood circulation and the use of oxygen in the body.

Assists recovery from foot and ankle injuries

The Vacuflex system reduces swelling in soft tissue injuries of the foot and ankle.

Reduced Inflammation

Cupping is thought to have anti-inflammatory effects. By promoting lymphatic drainage, it may help reduce swelling and inflammation in the tissues, supporting the body's natural healing processes.

More energy during the day

Cupping stimulates specific acupuncture points of feet and hands, lower legs and lower arms, re-establishing the flow of energy along the meridian pathways. Fixed cupping is achieved when single or multiples cups are placed on a painful area or acupuncture points located on the lower arms/hands and lower legs/feet. The cups are kept in place for 5 to 15 minutes.

Feel well and stronger

Quick cupping is done by placing a cup on an acupuncture point, then removing it immediately. This can be repeated as many times as possible for 1 to 3 minutes. Quick Cupping can be applied for 1 to 3 minutes and is often used to assist people who are unwell and weak.

Mechanical Lymphatic Drainage

The negative pressure created by the cups can draw fluids and toxins to the surface of the skin. This process is thought to mimic the natural drainage of the lymphatic system, helping to move lymphatic fluid more efficiently. Immune System Support: The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in immune function. By assisting lymphatic drainage, cupping therapy may contribute to a more efficient immune response by removing waste and supporting the circulation of immune cells.
